From football rivals in High School to fraternity brothers at Rutgers, Stanley and Martin graduated together in 1967. Stanley then earned his law degree from Rutgers as well, while Martin earned his from New York Law School.
Martin Mintz and Stanley Geftic play on opposing teams in a Thanksgiving high school football game. In one of the area’s top rivalry games at the time, Martin played for Hillside while Stanley lined up for Weequahic.
